Online Services for Business Managers
What the Service Center Does for You
Abacus
Insurance Brokers is extremely aware of the costs associated with servicing
your clients' insurance requirements. We have developed this system in order to
reduce your costs and to provide you with faster and more timely access to your
clients' insurance details. We believe that this process will not only be
beneficial to your operations, but will immediately give our organization more
time to attend to real issues with the elimination of the perpetual paper chase
we are all encumbered by.
The completed stages of this development allow you the user, depending on your
security level, to access the following information:
-
List of clients
-
List of policies
-
Payment details
-
Future payment details
-
Claim details
-
Insurance company ratings
-
Policy coverage explanations
-
Frequently asked questions
All these functions are available per client, per user, and can be sorted in
various formats.
The highlight of this process is the ability to communicate with our offices by
email on a specific policy or client. This communication can be tracked as an
open item where appropriate and placed in a “history” file when closed. Items
created this way can only be closed when both Abacus AND the user have signed
off on the item. Each and every time a record is created, the system will track
the date requested and item number, so that no discrepancies can arise as to
the date an instruction was given. Claims, if you wish, can also be reported
and tracked via this system.
Not all of the information we will provide you with is complete. The following
items are, however, currently being worked on:
-
Certificates of Insurance
-
Evidence of Insurance
-
Customer Schedules
-
Lists of drivers, vehicles and locations
-
Details of payments made directly to insurance companies
-
Access to both in force and expired or cancelled policies.
In addition, a news bulletin will be provided that will link your clients and
policies to the issues that affect their particular coverage.
